Talk to us

Kataka Bali Jatra is written for people who care about getting Cuttack’s festival right — which means we depend on readers who know it better than we do. Corrections, local detail, an advisory we have missed, a stall that has moved: all of it is welcome.

Email

The fastest way to reach us is by email:

info@katakabalijatra.com

We read everything that arrives and aim to reply to genuine enquiries within a few working days. During the festival period in November and December, replies may take longer.

Location

Kataka Bali Jatra is published from Odisha, India. We work remotely and do not operate a public office or walk-in address.

What to write to us about

Corrections

If we have got a fact wrong — a date, a route, a price, a historical claim — please tell us. Include the page URL and, where you can, a source. Corrections are our highest-priority mail and we act on them quickly.

Local knowledge and updates

Parking grounds shift. Stalls change hands. A vendor everyone recommends closes. If you have been to the fair recently and something on our site no longer matches reality, that is genuinely useful to us.

Article suggestions

Tell us what you looked for and could not find. Requests from readers shape a good part of what we write next.

Permissions and syndication

To republish, translate or adapt our content, write to us with details of where and how you intend to use it. Short quotations with clear attribution and a link are fine without asking. See our Terms & Conditions.

Copyright and takedown

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, contact us with the page URL, a description of the work, and your claim. We review and act on legitimate notices promptly.

Privacy requests

To ask what data we hold about you, request a correction, or ask for deletion, email us with “Privacy request” in the subject line. Details of your rights are set out in our Privacy Policy.

Advertising and partnerships

For advertising, sponsorship or partnership enquiries, email us with details of your organisation and what you have in mind. Please note that advertising does not buy editorial coverage, mentions or placement in our guides.

What we cannot help with

To save you time, a few things fall outside what we do:

  • Stall allotment and permits. We are not the organisers. Stall plots at Bali Yatra are allotted by the district administration through its own application and auction process. Apply to them directly.
  • Official dates, permissions and traffic notices. These are issued by the Cuttack District Administration and the Commissionerate Police. We report them; we cannot confirm or change them.
  • Bookings. We are not a travel agency and do not sell or arrange tours, tickets, accommodation or transport.
  • Lost property or on-ground emergencies. During the fair, go to a police assistance booth on the grounds or call the relevant emergency service.

Kataka Bali Jatra is an independent publication and is not affiliated with the Cuttack Municipal Corporation, the Cuttack District Administration, ORMAS or the Government of Odisha. See our Disclaimer.

Before you write

You may find your answer already covered in our guides — particularly the sections on timings, parking and fairground zones. If not, write to us and we will try to help, and quite possibly turn your question into an article.

More about who we are and how we work is on our About page.
